Shinode Tanjun Sushi Rice is Japanese short-grain rice grown in Italy, featuring a round shape, slight stickiness, and a soft texture. This variety is ideal for making sushi, kimbap, and many other Asian rice-based dishes of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cuisine.

1. Wash the rice thoroughly
2. Add 2 volume of rice to 1.5 volumes of cold salted water and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or untill the water has been absorbed
3. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes
