Tender tteokbokki rice cake covered in a garlicky teriyaki soy sauce. If you can't handle spiciness, you'd find this fragrant, sweet and mildly spicy version of topokki very pleasing. Literally translated as “stir-fried rice cake,” tteokbokki is classic Korean street food.

Ready in 3 minutes in the microwave, otherwise over a stove if you prefer a more tender texture, here is how to cook:

1. Put the rice cake and the seasoning in a saucepan.

2. In the empty cup, add water to the marked line, then add this water to the saucepan.

3. Cook over medium heat, until the sauce thickens, and stir continually during the process.

4. Put the ready-made tteokbokki back into the cup and dig in!

You can cook it also in a small sauce pan, for about 3-5 minutes.
