This black & purple cargo rice is healthy, finely selected rice of superb quality. Once cooked you can see a very dark purple color, which enhances the appeal of the rice. Mix them with regular white rice to achieve a nutty and chewy texture. It can be used as a supplement to your favorite dish or just mixed with a few vegetables to make a tasty snack or coconut milk for a fabulous dessert.

Rice Cooker:
1. Add 1 cup of rice (175 grams) and rinse twice.
2. Add 1.5 cup of water (338 grams).
3. Cover the rice cooker and turn it on.
4. When it automatically turns off, do not lift the cover immediately, simmer for about 10 minutes.

Microwave:
1. Add 1 cup of rice (175 grams) and rinse twice.
2. Soak in warm water (hot water 1: cold water 1) for 45 minutes then pour out water.
3. Add water just enough to cover rice completely.
4. Cover container of a deep microwave bowl, turn on microwave and cook on 600 Watt for 15 minutes
5. Remove cover, fluff and simmer for 5 minutes.
